3 years old bush which got attacked by magpies last year.
keeping it covered now. good crop on it last year before birds got to it. very sweet.

first time it happened I blamed the kids..lol, but then I saw the magpies right in it and they fairly demolished it before I could get down to chase them.

I too have a gooseberry bush which year before last I had none , as there are lots of magpies next door to me as its a chruch yard you now have answered a question the magpies had them , This year I had them picked before some one had them again.
