This is my little pineapple. Luckily it didn't get too burned in the heat wave. Photo taken April 23, 2009.

Wow...must have been a heck of a heat wave Delonix..how long did it last.. ? Make sure this doesn't go through the same.

It only lasted 5 days, however, 2 of the days were 100 degrees F / 37.8 degrees C. and the hottest day was 101 degrees F / 38.3 degrees C. very early in the year for types of hot temps...however, not very unusual.
I had to cover some of my plants in my front yard with shade cloth because my Jacaranda has lost all if its leaves...which it normally does just before it blooms.
