Duck's nest in the compost store - April 2009

Some of you may recall a drake and duck wandering round my garden for an hour back in March - I joked they were looking for a pond I didn't have, and some people suggested they might be looking to nest. Well the duck did, settling down to make her nest and lay her eggs in my compost store (where the good stuff I get from my compost heaps gets help until I use it and where plants get held until I get a chance to plant them), 14 eggs in total.
