Ahh, I see. :-) Does this nursery over winter the trees shrubs and perrenials? Our highest priced nursery tests the plants over winter so you know you're buying something that does survive. All that testing and tending has a cost. :-)

Yes I did a double-take. and you're right GT... they take special care and probably lose a few as well...it would be totally acclimated and that justifies a certain return on their investment...but I'm not sure I want to make that much of an investment in the little thing. I find that bargain plants are usually imports from the US and they aren't naturally prepared for our winters... as a result the first year is chancy...but even having said that...I would NEVER pay 129. for something that small/young. Sigh!
