The best forms have pale yellow flowers; seed raised plants often have pink mixed in

Thats a smashing Paeonia, how long did it take to get to this stage?

I have to admit I didn't grow it from seed myself. I bought the plant from a small nursery about five years ago and it didn't flower until two years ago - it was then I found it was a seedling and not a division from a yellow-flowered plant :-(
