My Conker Tree taken this morning planted by my father in 1968 it is now about 60 ft high .To the right top the wisteria budding. This along range view from my back door(tree about 100 ft away)

One about 3ft high he brought it in carrier bag and asked if he could plant it
He said he would never see conkers on it but he did.Which is more than I did last year the squirrels ate all of them on the tree green.in the past they have buried them in the garden and in the spring i have to go round and dig them all out.They are a major pest there are so many of them even breeding in the roofs of the houses around

This is such a grand tree! And such a wonderful history. Shame about the squirrels. I like them but we have the same trouble with them here. Just can't have them around.
