Hi Jacque, the blue flower in this picture is Salvia farinacea. Low maintance plant and blooms a long time. I grew it from seed last year.
I'm doing great, now that the time has changed. I still have an hour of daylight left after dinner, and I've been going outside and cleaning out one flower bed an evening. So, I've been very busy, but I've been doing the things I like best. Best of both worlds..!

There was a lot of that Salvia about last season... It is blue, so of course I bought some.lol. Is it an annual in your garden?

Luckily Salvia farinacea is a perennial for me. But it has to like where it's planted to come back, so I have lost some on more than one occasion. If we have a wet winter they don't come back if I planted them in heavy soil.

I have the same kind of daylily, and never knew the name of it. Now, I know. Thanks!
