The foliage is its beauty. The flowers come second!

It is a beauty. Brightens up a dark spot. I like the pink tinting, really sets it apart.

To be honest, I preferred it without the flowers!

mmm i don't know about that - it is pretty with them too, i have a really nice little white flowering plant can't remember the name off the top of my head but this reminds me of it ...just a minute and i'll be back with the name....

...Silene uniflora - i have it under the common name in my file which is Bladder Campion- i have some good pic's if you want to have a look - i have had this little ground cover plant for years, it was one of a few that i made the point of bringing with me on my last 2 house moves! and the leaves are a bit simular to this plant but the fact that it has white flowers i think works very well. i think what throws you off with this plant is the colour of the flowers - would you agree? if they were pink or cream some how it think they would go better. personally i do like the lilac. but i can see what you mean.

Yes, you're right - maybe if they were pink or cream, yes, that would be better...out with the paintbrush...lol.

Wondering how to make cuttings... mine is like yours.

Mine or Spritz's B Lourenco? the little Silene i have is quite easy, you just carefully pull out some little shoots - some already have little roots on the bottom others need an inch or two that have no green but lots of little knodes, and then pot them up, water and that is it.

That sounds easy! I will try and let you know!
Many thanks!
