My old one is getting woody and leggy - so I've planted a new one next to it, to take over when the old one goes.

The only problem with this, lovely though it looks, is its aromatic smell - I can't stand it and avoid deadheading until I have to. :-(
None of the othe L. stoechas have that effect on me??

This is a really lovely cultivar of this lavender. Pity about the smell, 'Rue (Ruta) has the same effect on me, I can't stand it.

That Geranium..... macrorrhizum.... I can't stand the smell of its leaves, either. when I heave out bits of it, I have a clothes peg on my nose! LOL.

Glad you approve, Eileen. I wonder if you'd like the scent of it?
