Lots of this in Kent fields, too. Looks pretty but I'm not so keen on the smell!

When I worked I used to drive, with the window open, pass lots of rapeseed fields. Noticed a strange smell and thought I had a problem with the car. Found out weeks later that the smell only occurred when passing the rapeseed! I felt a real idiot, as my daughter (a mechanic) had checked the car out for me several times and found nothing amiss :)

Such a wonderful sight. I had a long commute some years ago along some cattle range fields. At a visit later, all the fields had converted to rapeseed. What a change. They really are a great sight.

Yes they are so lovely to see greenthumb...........
