portrait of Maggie, our older Lab. We were her Puppy Raisers, she was to be a guide dog, but failed the final part of her formal training, due to "suspicion". so we bought her from BC Guide Dogs. This was taken when Maggie was 9 yrs old. She's 12 now

Maggie is a sweet looking dog! I love labs and have a 13 year old black right now who is having the same problems due to arthritis, plus kidney disease. She is a special part of the family.

She is quite beautiful and looks quite serene but most "labs" do...that's what makes them so special

thankyou both, Wohlibuli and Skippy. Am sorry about your black lab too. We hate to see them get old and unable to run about like they used to do.
