Thanks everyone for your comments.Dawnsaunt there is a ntoice up by his perch and it says that he will say Goodbye when he wants you to leave lol.He is also sixteen years old.....

Aww bless him. They live to a great age don't they. Has he ever said goodbye to you, lol.

No Dawn,when we went last year he kept eyeing me up and marching up and down his perch and I got some really close up photo's of his beady eye.He is a beautiful bird though and has fantastic feather colouring....

You've captured the eye brilliantly Tina. Have you ever seen one eat a grape. They hold it in their claws and strip the peel off the grape - amazing, lol.

I think that this is an incredible shot Tina! It's different and fabulous... that eye is fantastic!

Dawn,no I have never seen one eat a grape although I expect they are experts at it.There were a lot of children round him so I think he had decided to just bury his head in his feathers although it was quiet windy,one reason why his head feathers are ruffled....

Tasty,if you look at his eye it looks like he is looking right into your eyes lol....
