Thanks BB/Jane...the only association I can think of is when they appear on the Franco-Ontarien Flag(yes. for some reason the Ontario French have a flag that is different theirs is green and white with a white fleur-de-lys on the green end and a green trillium on the white end!!!) have I confused you sufficiently? that's because there's no room for a fleur-de-lys on the Red Ensign. which is Ontario's provincial flag.) ...lol... the fleur-de-lys is the flag iris, I believe. The Quebec flag has four fleur-de-lys...the flag with . the leaf and bars...(referred to by one FC politician as the red and white rag) is our national flag...but the provinces all have their own...and in Ontario if you're French you have one too!)
