Scottie this was a very peaceful corner of the Parklands. At the end of that stream is a waterfall and it was just lovely sitting near here listening to the birds and the water.

I know I would just love these gardens! Another Botanical Garden I must go to is Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens...my scientist plant guru friend said it's one of the best gardens in the World besides the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Haven't been there myself, but I have heard it's one of the best! It's wrapped around Farm Cove at the edge of Sydney Harbour and has views out over the harbour onto Sydney's Opera House. Apparently it has a spectacular Palm Grove and some great Wollemi Pines.

Delonix we'll both have to put it on our itinerary when we visit Sydney next!! I haven't been there for over ten years now.

Well, it's only a mere 1,600 mile trip for you...for me it's a long 9,000 mile trip. LOL!

Very true - but you might get there before me! The last time I was there was during out 6-month drive around Australia many moons ago - I have only been to the airport there since then!

I hope I will get there soon...I had planned to go to Sydney in 2000...however, decided to move to San Diego from the San Francisco Bay Area.
