I dont think it gets enough sun TT, i planted it about 4 years ago and each year there is only about 10 flowers and maybe 3-4 shoots, i mulch it... what do you think???

Clematis generally like to have cool, damp, but well-drained roots and their heads in the sunshine...
Sometimes they just take a few years to really get going...
Do you prune it at all ?
There are different rules for various types of clematis about how much to chop off and when....
I usually forget completely about pruning any of my clematis.....
This white flower is wonderful, so maybe this has quality not quantity... Lol.

Well TT i haven't pruned it as there was never that much to prune lol.....The flowers are always healthy looking but the stems seem a bit scraggy looking..is scraggy a word??...The other clematis in my garden are doing well, but the white one is in a more shaded area.....
