Oh I can't wait Bernieh, Glouchester is a very old roman city near Bristol and Bath and has no less than six cathedrals. It is very picturesque. The Canal runs from Sharpness to Glouchester a distance of about 22 miles and passes through endless countryside and small ancient villages. There is also a wetlands trust bird sanctuary along side the canal in saul which includes of all things canada geese (should please Gilli) and pink flamingo's. All of which makes for an extremely relaxing and slow paced holiday. My brother lives in Bristol so it also gives me the chance to see him aswell.
