Great closeup. Check at night, some orchid cactus are night bloomers. Might have a nice strong fragrance too.

your epiphyllum has quite a few vicious looking pricks..! mine has none...!

They are very slender and get into the skin quite easily - can be annoying, but the flowers are so pretty....
