This plant spreads like mad! The birds love the fluff..I see them fly away with mouthfuls for their nests...It is related to the dandelion but is leafless and when it first appears it looks a little like a cactus...just little leafless buttons on the soil...then the stems shoot up and the flower stems explode upwards about 10 inches.... like fireworks the blossoms are BRIGHT and the seeds blow away in the wind! ! Yes is is very pretty, Milky. I like it because it is the first colour in the garden in early spring! Seeds from a friend...
