Thanks so much for your comments. I really don't know much more. We happened upon on our way to my friends' daughters dance program and it was 100 degrees...so very hot. Again, it's just one of those community gardens that are maintained by the neighborhoods. It was in August. so already many of the flowers were a little tired, which is why the green was so green!
