Thanks Toto. They're like little jewels, aren't they?

They are Elke. I have one in a large pot but it hasn't done so well this year. Do you think it would be better planted directly into the ground?

Do you mean the speedwell at the top, or the creeping phlox at the bottom, Toto? We have always had success with both, but in open ground, rockeries, etc. The speedwell spreads very fast along the edge of perennial beds. The phlox spreads through people's lawns here, a very pretty effect in spring before the lawnmowers come out. I'll post another photo of some creeping over our patio wall.

Thanks Elke. I didn't make it clear I know but I was talking about the Phlox. My one is called Candy Stripe. I don't have a rockery or a wall so it's a pot or the ground. Laqst year it looked really good but this year it has been rather disappointing.

Great pic. I am looking for groundcovers to fill in around my new steps. I'll bet these are pretty hardy.

I'm sure they would do well where you are Greenthumb. They survived fine in Quebec winters.
