Butterfly on Wallflower

5 of these on the wallflower plant today at about 5.30pm. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry....it wouldn't keep still. Anyone know what it is? I thought Painted Lady, but not sure.

Sixpence

Was this when down south had the clouds of them comming in lovely photo. Did you join in with the reporting of their travel through different districts.

Hi Sixpence....yes, we had clouds of them for a long time. I joined in with the local reporting...i.e. numbers seen from my house and the surrounding area. Lasted about four weeks then the numbers dwindled.
