These trees are very tall more than 150 feet/ 46 meters tall. Photo taken in northwester Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. today.

Did you know that California grows more Eucalytus species and trees than anywhere in the World outside of Australia? I hope that made sense. LOL!

I've only learnt that as a result of your info Delonix - that is fascinating to me. Obviously they love the climate there.

One cannot drive anywhere at the lower elevations of CA. without seeing Eucalytus naturalizing everywhere...they are the most non-native tree grown
in California as far as I know.
I'll go as far to say that many people think it's a native tree...and equate it with California, because Eucalytus has been grown here for so long.
