Ficus macrophylla - Moreton Bay Fig

These three Moreton Bay Figs are still babies. They will eventually grow to almost 150 feet/ 46 meters tall and 200 feet/ 61 meter spread...however, that still about another 100 - 120 years or so away. They are very long-lived trees...nobody really know how long though. Maybe 1000 or 3000 years? Photo taken MAy 23, 2009.

We don't need a time machine -- there's very large old Ficus macrophylla - Moreton Bay Figs in Balboa Park...I've posted the very large old trees in the past.
