It partly moved in the ground in some high winds and was deemed unsafe .Rather than sawing it all up the contractor moved it with a crane a short distance And created a feature of it there is a serpent type head just above Jamie and to the left and several ares to sit,the date 1849/2009 is carved just below Jamie. I think it was a Beech tree .

What a nice feature & looks like Jamie approved. I took out my Mums Springer out last week so I know why they called them Springers! He caught a rabbit which I found a bit disturbing - it's natural for them though I suppose, does Jamie ever catch anything?

Oh yes he does squirrels and pidgeons are favorite most get away but have to clean up a bloody Jamie before he is allowed in the house if they are to slow.Jamie has only had one Rabbit he pulled it out of a hole in the ground by the back of its neck as soon as it was up in the air it kicked its legs and Jamie dropped it in fright and it escaped.
