How pretty! Did you know they can hear with their wings?? Mainly to listen for the ultrasonic sounds from bats. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysopidae

100% right Elke. What beauty we have all around us and we are so arrogant to think that we should control it.

Is entomology just a hobby? You're so knowledgeable about these insect, it's great for the rest of us. and you photographs of them are stunning.

I do like the insects Wagger, but please don't be fooled into thinking I have any particular knowledge, that would be insulting and unfair to those people who really do know. I have very little knowledge. Much of the time I need to look them up in one or other of my books.
