...really like this variety, much more natural looking, than some of the later and more showy varieties that i have, it fits in really nice with the more natural/cottage look i have at this end of the garden, i have tried to get a close up - but it is not easy lol...will try again...if the rain ever stops..... so much for the heat wave we were ment to be having.

I do rather agree with you about the look of gladis - this one is so much nicer than most.

thanks Eileen, aside from the gardening thing, it is also half term holidays, can make life with a little monkey very hard! lol and yes i do like them Bernieh, although i must say i like the big blousey ones too, but in there place,,,i have several varieties of them in my hotter coloured borders, i really like the unusual colours - lime green, burgandy and orange make a stunning combo!

I have a lot of these, they like my front garden and pop up all over the place. I like them, too, so I don't mind!

I'm with Alan Titchmarsh on this one. I hate the big ones but love this beauty. I love to see it popping up in the wrong places to change the supposedly 'correct' planting scheme.

LOL - you'd like my front bed, then, Vincent!...not that I have a 'correct' planting scheme...

lol my front garden too, i kind of just let things move around as they like to, picking out the odd weed - if there is any room for one to grow that is lol. i did'nt know that this vareity spread so much but glad, because as you say it is welcome to do it's stuff in my garden :-)
