Chokecherry Blossoms!

The chokecherry has begun, our trusty spring blooming tree. A great spring fragrance fills the air. It is said you can plant when the chokecherry blooms.

They are the biggest spring show around here. I'm noticing the university planted many double plums. Mine bloomed last spring and died. I must be in the wrong spot for those.

Yes. I have to be ready for it here. Spring has been a little sad for me, few of my perrenials came through last winter. Very cold last winter, before enough snow fell.
