Its a Cyrtostachys renda - Lipstick Palm, commonly called a Red Palm here in Fiji.

Yes the Lipstick Palm is receiving a lot of rain and sunshine which is why it's looking good I suppose:-)

Yes, Lipstick Palm -- besides being extremely sensitive to cold, will not tolerate dry/drought conditions at all...as they are native to wet equatorial Malaysia.

You notice the elevated timber walkway suspended from the trees at the back of this pic, it gives a tree top bird's eye view of my garden, I plan to add a decking around the trees as well with a pond at the bottom and a pergola in place of the arch.
