First Rose to bloom 2009

First Rose to bloom 2009

This one is my favorite for fragrance..it called French Perfume..so pretty and very large bloom with a heavenly scent..
I cut this one and brought it inside just in case the deer came to tea...it is sitting next to me right now..and I am considering letting it go another day before hanging it upside down to dry.

Your not supposed to eat them Cat.

4 Jun, 2009

That was the deer talking..not me...

5 Jun, 2009

Don't worry Cat, I'm easily confused. They only let me out occasionally.

5 Jun, 2009

This is my favourite colour of rose. It's so delicate.

Toto ~ that's because you will insist on walking around with and eye patch and a parrot on your shoulder. LOL

7 Jun, 2009

And what's wrong with that?

7 Jun, 2009

Maybe he would scare the deer off..send a picture Toto..

7 Jun, 2009

I don't think you'd like it Cat. It's not the deer that would be put off, it's all the GOY members.

7 Jun, 2009

The deer would take one look and run a mile.....the GoY members would run two miles. LOL

8 Jun, 2009

You've seen a pic the Gilli! Was it on "Crime Watch"?

8 Jun, 2009

Yes it was Toto. With "WANTED" over the top and "DEAD OR ALIVE" underneath.

9 Jun, 2009

Well at least somone wants me then.

9 Jun, 2009

All this time I thought that cute little bird was you, Toto.
I can be gullible. (:-

10 Jun, 2009

He has had us all fooled..but then you know how we are...sheep got me..

10 Jun, 2009

True, so true....I've been meaning to ask you about that.

10 Jun, 2009

LOL..not really a sheep Sisty...still cute and cuddly though.

10 Jun, 2009

Oh? Huh-Ya just never know do ya?

10 Jun, 2009

Nope..ya just never do...

10 Jun, 2009

I am cute in a sort of ugly, demented sort of way Weeds. The Old Bill think I am too as they keep taking my pictures so that they can hang it on their wall.

10 Jun, 2009

As long as you don't have fangs, you're okay in my book. (What is "The Old Bill?" Sorry sometimes I don't speak English-English.)

11 Jun, 2009

The Old Bill is the Filth, Coppers, Policemen Weeds. Of which I was one in a previous life.

11 Jun, 2009

That comes as no surprise to me...lol...You are so Joe Friday...

12 Jun, 2009

Gilli, it's so nice to be "WANTED," isn't it? Dead... maybe not so much as alive.

Toto, Oh... you mean the Fuzz. Please speak English! LOL Did you like being Old Bill in your past life?

12 Jun, 2009

lol...now why would they be called Old Bill????? huh?...strange..

12 Jun, 2009

Now it's my turn to ask the questions Cat. Who or what is Joe Friday?
It was a long time ago now Weeds, but yes, at the time it was ok.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A295571

go to the website there Alan....it is about Dragnet and Joe Friday..."just the facts" Toto..."just the facts"....lol.

12 Jun, 2009

Toto...Joe Friday was one of those things you had to grow up with to understand.

13 Jun, 2009

P.C. Toto!!?? Chief Inspector Toto?? Detective Inspector Toto???

13 Jun, 2009

Just PC (Politically correct).

13 Jun, 2009

All we want is the facts Toto..."just the facts"

13 Jun, 2009

Toto I'll bet you have some stories to tell. Maybe you should blog us a Copper story! Let's see...It starts..."I'm Toto, I'm a Cop. I was doing day watch at Hollywood and Vine.." Then when you get to the part where you interview the witness and she starts to ramble, you keep her focused by saying, "Just the facts, ma'm, just the facts."
I think this has potential to turn into a book!

13 Jun, 2009

I don't think so Weeds. It's only the gory bits I really remember and that bit is better left in the past.

13 Jun, 2009

Yes, I guess you're right. People like you don't get enough thank you's for standing between the rest of us and the nasty parts of life. I have a friend who is an excop. He said he had seen so much bad stuff that he sometimes forgot that most of the world is good. Thank you, Toto.

14 Jun, 2009

It is easy to have happen...feeling like the world is not so good when your job is to deal with the bad stuff....You do deserve a thank you Alan..Weeds is right..hugs to you and your wife too..cannot imagine being the wife of a policeman. She is a brave woman too.

14 Jun, 2009

I don't want to accept too much praise as I only stayed in for a few years as my heart wasn't really in it. I went back to the job I first trained for in engineering.

14 Jun, 2009

Good then..got the police business out of your system..and got into what you trained for and now you get to sit by a river bank and take pictures..you are doing all right...I think.

14 Jun, 2009

I think so too Cat.

15 Jun, 2009

Oh, so there is a river at the asylum is there. I hope they fence it off with a nice high fence so there aren't any "swimmers"....or sinkers.

My brother was in the RCMP for many years. He ended up having a bit of a "breakdown" just before he retired. He saw so many very unpleasant things and it all builds up inside.

28 Jun, 2009

I have an uncle who ended up the same Gilli. It sure is not an easy job.

28 Jun, 2009

Not at all Cj. Not a job I would want to do.
