A close shot of the Arnica, I drove along until I saw the sun coming through onto a patch, I've been free in the evenings only lately. This one really glowed.

wow GT, Id didnt know you also have Arnica in Alaska...
Arnica has a medicinal use, you might know.
There is a large use to Arnica, its oil is used for sore muscles.

Thanks Aleyna. I hadn't thought of it as a rub, but I'm betting that would be pretty effective. I did know it was useful. I actually got into gardening wanting to have a medicinal garden. I learned all my natives first. Then FLOWERS took over. :-) I know this one is very toxic if used much at all. Recommended to not try home remedy with it. It is a good yellow dye, that I may try one day. :-) Maybe a yellow sweater to tend sore muscles.

What else?
See who else is growing Arnica montana (Arnica).
See who else has plants in genus Arnica.
