The pond - a work in progress!

There are shallow shelved areas around the front where the birds all love having a bath, including the pigeons! The foxes and squirrels use it too and although we get loads of wildlife, we've yet to see a hedgehog. There are quite a few plants in the pond that were already there when we moved in, not quite sure what they're called but they are lovely when they come up, with beautiful yellow and then purple flowers. Haven't seen dragonflies yet but I would love to. We added a water lily last year and although there have been a lot of leaves coming up to the surface, we've not yet seen any flowers, maybe this year.

Ooooh, fantastic, what a lovely size! The wildlife will certainly love it! Have you got shallow edges for hedgehogs to sip water? Also, put some plants in, you'll be able to watch dragonflies emerging from the plants!
