These are lovely.

Amazing how something so small and cheap can make your so cheerful.

Cost has nothing to do with it Newfie. Some of the most simple and easy to raise plants are expensive only because they come into fashion or are particularly nice to see. Grown from seed they are quite cheap.

I consider the store bought ones cheaper.
Time=money.
Raising seeds=a lot of time.
Therefore growing own plants from seed is not cheap.
But I do enjoy it.
My recent bout with fungus gnats has disheartened me somewhat, but I'm sure I will get the itch to start things again next winter/spring.

Is it the gnats that give you the itch?
Don't forget that one packet of seeds can give literally dozens of even, in some cases hundreds of plants.
