Rose - Berries and Cream

This bush has shot up a new cane from the ground this year and the flowers are red. Has to be one of the parent roses they used to come up with the pink and whites. I think the colors look well together.

Sounds like the rose was grafted to another stronger rose rootstock that is shooting up. Very common with roses. You may just have two varieties. Don't let it take over. From this method, the root plant is usually much more vigorous.
