Really? That's awesome! I take borage oil to control/prevent inflamation of nerves due to diabetes...never seen the plant though! It's worth gold.

I bet the bees are queueing already, waiting for the flowers to open.

You’re a clever cookie Eileen even Toto looks impressed – I’m no expert but seem to remember borage being known as starflower and has great medicinal properties (may be off track there) anyway well done looks a fine specimen

I love Borage and when I see it, as it grows wild here ...I pick off the flowers and eat them..they are yummy and full of vitamins...I don't have any coming along this year..may have to go on a hunt and bring a wild one home...The bees do love them too...yes in deed.

Actually it's in Europe where they're using it most to control nerve inflammation (neuropathy) I read about it and decided to try it on my own - it has great medicinal properties, but I didn't know the plant itself was so pretty!

there are so many benifits that we get from plants

when I studied herbs because I had such bad cluster headaches and there seemed nothing to help..I learned so much about each plant where I lived and what might help...there is really nothing that does not have some use...it is very interesting...some of the herbs gave soem relief..but finally a Dr. was able to help with Indomethicin, and a beta blocker so I am much better off now with the problem..but it was a blessing in disguise since I now have a special fondness for plants as herbs...
