I removed this from one of the boxes. It had been there unattended for quite a few weeks, it never ceases to amaze me how they know that the eggs are just not going to hatch and abandon the nest on this occasion.

Yes, it is a shame. All my children are grown up now otherwise they could have taken it for the nature table

Incredeible, the work that goes in to these nests. Just like wasp nests always blow me away!
