What is the red leaved plant Delonix ?

Is it an acalypha? Stunning colours. Your front garden looks quite lush.

The red plant is: Iresine lindenii - Blood Leaf Plant. It's a commonly grown shrub used as a filler plant.

Youngdaisydee, thanks! It's not that manicured and clean...as the Jacaranda flowers are falling over everything in the front yard.

Blood leaf plant is very easy to grow and is extremely easy to grow from cuttings. It a good plant to use as a filler...it can be grown as an annual also. This plant has been in the ground for 5 years now...and it regularly
gets cut back.
