they grow on the sand dunes. i love finding the wild flowers when i walk the dog.

ahhh..yes.. beach walks with my girl furs are always nice. There are so many different plants along the way..

i know cat. ive only just started to notice them. i thinks its becausse when my children were small i had to keep my eyes on them....no ive started to notice all the birds too.

You know..I think you are right...raising children does avert one's attention and even if you do notice, you get distracted so often you don't get to really take the time to enjoy it so much.....I do remember taking my children into the field in the summer evenings and having them sit with me and listen while the birds talked to each other before they went to sleep for the night..I told pretty good stories of what they were saying to each...lol...and then they would add what they thought they were saying too...

we have two ravens who keep me company each day. i say hello to them when i pass..;-)) my children all still home but they too old for stories now...
