Thanks all.....as you can see my patio is at ground level...then up the steps to the garden, its very small and probably a tad over-full...lol....I have a little sun-room, you can see the doors in the pic....thats where i over-winter all my tender stuff....:>)

Hi Tt...to the left the white rose is a David Austin rambler called 'Snow Goose'.. repeat flowering only grows 8-10ft...The pink rose alongside is Gertrude Jekyll...and the blue geranium we think might be 'magnificum' but not altogether sure..the common foxglove is there, another rose lower down that i dont know the name of....further along in the distance is ivy and a couple of unknown clematis.....:>)
