Another of our great native trees - they really do look spectacular when in full bloom. Often used as a companion plant to the jacaranda and they make a vibrant contrast to the jacarandas when they both flower at the same time. We also call them the Flame Kurrajong.

Yes, this is another fantastic Australian tree! They are pretty widely grown here. They usually grow to be enormous trees...however, all the ones in this parking lot are still pretty young. Yes, I love the contrast between Jacaranda, Brachychiton, Erythrina, Cassia leptophylla, Tipuana tipu and the many colors of Bougainvillea...and that's just the beginning. : > )
