seems to be a lot of greenfly this yr

well..greenfly or not..it made me think of making myself some breakfast..so I am off to the kitchen! Love the flower ..by the way...very interesting..pretty too.

it's lovely Eileen - there is loads of green fly around this year - I blitz them with bug spray - however my dad tells me I should be using water with a bit of fairy liquid and that will do the trick - haven't tried it yet - You try it first and if it kills your plants I'll know not to try it :) :)

but of course - I'm going to try it - he swears by it and it couldn't be any worse that the chemicals in these shop brought sprays - I should really try to be more green maybe next year !! Someone was giving out to me recently for using peat in the garden and I am starting to feel really guilty !!

true about the washing up liquid mind, cant be as many chemicals in it as some of the sprays have. do you think it would have to be Fairy or would the cheap brands do lol

no - any brand will do - I call them all "fairy liquid" (I just have a hoover/vacum thing going on)

ok well its worth a try isnt it, think it needs to be a weak solution

I either use washing up liquid or one of the fairies around here as a rule, but have also used the Toto caress to deal with our little green friends.
