Sweet Autumn clematis should take over and bloom beautifully in the fall. The existing clematis is pink and blooms earlier in the spring. Well, the Sweet Autumn was planted late in the season of 2008. It grew no bigger than a few sprigs in 2009 and so far in 2010, it is not that impressive. However, it is climbing. It is just so much slower than I thought....patience, patience, patience......
