This Erigeron didn't suffer at all in the winter! A lot of the others did.

Thank you - I dug out some soil here 2 years ago as the wall just had grass up to the edge and I thought it could do with some colour to break up the stonework. Nearer the ash tree there's Erigeron karvinskianus (again!) and Geranium 'Johnson's Blue' as well as a pink Aubrieta. I fully intend to continue this narrow planting the other side of the ash tree - when I get round to it!

Beautiful, i really ,like the Erigeron, there is some on a wall just down the road from here...on the wish list it goes.

It's called Erigeron glauca, Angie - the replacement ones I bought were different... I was soooo cross with myself!

The Erigeron 'Azure Fairy' and 'Pink something or other' are taller, and the leaves are up the stem. You've seen E. glauca now. They come with names, too - like 'Sea Breezes' I think is one. They stay low to the ground and spread out.
