Not sure at all, Elke, I am not well up on Iris, they are often so similar. I have not noticed I. sibirica producing bare patches in the centre. Maybe someone else has an opinion.

All wild iris here are called blue flag as well, in Fairbanks mostly I. setosa. This looks alot like them.
