The best of it is, our mower chops the grass up into tiny pieces so we never have to collect the cuttings, they just get mulched back in. :-)

Phil wants a ride on mower Dawn & has looked @ some but i wont let him buy 1 cos id have no meadow left cos he`d mow the lot down lol :)

Oh dear Jacque, you dont want that .... John just mows a pathway through our meadow/trees which makes a nice contrast between the short path and the meadow :-)

Ha ha, I have plenty of long grass elsewhere. Ray - going back to the stinging nettles, I've not seen any caterpillars or eggs on them - or have they been and gone ?

Not sure Dawn...not seen any either,but lots of holes in leaves so guess you could be right ! Lol

OK, I'll take a look at mine. What do you think to the Stinging Nettle Competitions that have been on the news etc. just lately?

Not had time to see any news recently Dawn.What is it about.Sorry..working flat out everyday and having difficulty staying awake after evening meal.Thats why not been on for few days !

Oh dear Ray - you will be exhausted. A full day physical work takes it out of you, especially in this heat. Well, competitions are held to see who can eat, yes eat, as many stinging nettles leaves in a set amount of time. They have to remove them from the stem and eat them, omg.
Ray, that pink shrub is on this picture that the bees love.

My eye sight not what it was Dawn..can only just make out the lawn ! Lol
