Beautiful Abutilon! I bet you grow them from cuttings? I used to grow these plants when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. I just would stick them in the ground and they would grow.

Thanks everyone. Andy I havent tried any cuttings, but maybe I shall give it a try....

They are extremely easy to grow from cuttings. When I lived in the S. F. Bay Area...I used to stick them in the ground and water them...and in a less than 6 months from a small 1 foot cutting they would be 6 or 7 feet tall.

Ha ha ....but we are unfortunate enough not to have you constant glorious warmth Andy.......I think I will try in the greenhouse......

It is cooler in the San Francisco Bay Area...and I think they like the cooler weather better than the hot weather...because they grew so much faster and larger
up there.
