Hello again

I'm Rosie, we love Mom's garden and watch all the birds who come to the feeders and have baths, we shout with joy and bath in our dishes when we see them.

Cassie isn't, I bought her because I fell in love with her. Rosie is sort of, because I saw her in the same Pet Shop and she is so plucked that she is virtually bald on her chest, I just had to take her out of that situation, she will never grow her feathers again, she is psychologically damaged. She is very highly strung. I love them to bits, I have over 60 rescued birds LOL

What species is a Galah? Am I right in thinking they Australian and are from the Parrot family?

Yes Bob, you are right in Australia, but they are Cockatoos, a different family. They are my two pink Perils LOL. I rescue and foster battered and unwanted Parrots and Parrot like birds. These two are my own, but I have 60 for my sins LOL. Wouldn't change a feather on any of them. I belong to BirdLine who dedicate themselves to finding foster homes for these poor birds. Done it for 15 years and will do it until I cannot physically do any more.

Rosis is so badly plucked Terratoonie, she is almost bald on her body, I had to bring her home, they cost me an arm and a leg to buy, but what are savings for and I was working at the time! They are so worth it. If you have a moment you can see all my animals on
