She is, that is why losing her is going to be so hard!

Thank you, I so want to cuddle her again, but since she has been ill, she won't let me pick her up.

Big Poll knows you are close by and that you love her lots.
That's important to her, and a great comfort.

I had made up my mind to take her to the Vet tomorrow as she hadn't eaten for two days and I can't see her suffer. Then last night I cooked her some chicken, beef, peas and sweetcorn, only a little and she ate some of it, she also at a bit of Rich Tea biscuit. She has had a little bit of fruit this morning, so I can't take her just yet as she is trying.

You must have been delighted when she ate some food !
You'll know when the time is right.
While she has quality of life she can carry on that little bit longer.
I know how tough this is for you. Have been through it myself with pets....

I know, part of me is wondering if I am just prolonging the inevitable as there is no cure for her, it is just age. I shall know as you say.
