Northern Maidenhair Fern

My favorite native fern ! Found in small colonies in our back woods, I transplanted a few to the front gardens where they did much better. One small fern turned into 75+ fronds in a few years.

These are wonderful and can be found here in Massachusetts. I will be on the lookout for some soon as I am planning to put in a Hosta and Fern garden on the side of my front porch.
