When I was at the nursery the lady who worked there showed me in their book information about the plant. It said that it would get a yellow-white flower in the second year. Then it said it is a biennal or a short lived perrenial.
So really not sure what to expect from it.

All those other plants around it are gooseneck and they are coming out and going to a new friend's home next week. I hope. I have way too many. Getting late in the year to transplant but I told her that if they didn't thrive I'd have plenty next year for her and I have too many so they have to go and I hate to throw anything away. I'd rather find homes for them.

Well done on identifying your sage.
It is silvery, so an apt name :o)
