No double flowers yet - but there are lots of buds.

No - well, not on my plant, anyway! I was expecting double flowers on its first flowering, then singles when it flowers again. Never mind - it's pretty and it 'goes' with the rose that's already climbing the tree.

I thought it gave out double flowers with the first flush as well and then single - doesn't matter though, it's a lovely plant and yes, I think I will definitely be getting it.

I was very relieved to find it in bloom today - it must be OK! :-)

It only has double flowers on the stems that were NOT cut back in spring, its doubles are on old wood.
On my Clematis i cut half the stems back and leave half the stems there ........ this way you get some single and some double all at the same time.

Hello Spritzhenry - I like this one and am so pleased you took a photo of it as I've been thinking of getting this one It's nice to see it growing instead of just a sales shot, if you see what I mean. I love the crinkly edges. It's not a large flower, is it?
